Type specimen: Geological Museum of China, Beijing, IVy0355. Its type locality is Guanfang, Pu'er, which is in a Triassic marine horizon in the Weiyuanjiang Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Guanfang, Pu'er
